The Ajman Centre for Social Responsibility, a division of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), is set to organize a joint meeting that will bring together representatives of the government, private, service and charity sectors in Ajman. The meeting will be held end of September at the Fairmont Ajman Hotel.

Nasser Al Dhafri, Executive Director of Planning and Member Support, and CEO of Ajman Centre for Social Responsibility, explained that the meeting aims to identify the best practices and excellent implementations in the areas of sustainability and social responsibility in the various sectors. “The meeting will host a panel of distinguished speakers whose focus will be the best practices in those two fields.” He added.
Commenting on the meeting, Al Dhafri also highlighted that the Centre seeks to carry out a future plan, in cooperation with all government and private entities, that promotes a culture of social responsibility. Such culture will help create a successful and sustainable business climate in Ajman, and encourage businesses to foster socially responsible projects, thus achieving Ajman CSR objectives and realizing Ajman Vision 2021 of creating “a happy society that contributes to establishing a green economy; backed by a distinguished government in harmony with the Spirit of the Union.”
“We are very keen on strengthening our local and international partnerships in order to attract the best global practices and turn this Centre into a regional beacon for promoting a culture of social responsibility, and the main reference for corporate social responsibility initiatives and activities.” Al Dhafri said.
