The Corporate Social Responsibility Centre of Ajman, CSR, subsidiary of Ajman Chamber, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, with Al Ihsan Charity Association, to enhance joint cooperation in charity organisation, volunteering and social activities to serve CSR field in the Emirate of Ajman.
The agreement was signed by Naser Al Dhafri, CEO of CSR Centre of Ajman, and Naser Al Jeneni, Executive Director of Al Ihsan Charity Association, at the Chamber’s headquarters.
The agreement provides joint cooperation in organising events and charitable projects, activating volunteer opportunities in various activities, and exchanging experiences and information between the two parties, in addition to media coordination organised by the two parties.
The agreement seeks to activate electronic links between both sides and promote all events, activities and media coverage. It also aims to exchange training courses and experiences through internal specialised workshops and conferences that contribute to enhancing competencies of the employees.
Al Dhafri reiterated the keenness of the CSR Centre to activate its partnerships with all concerned entities, especially public interest institutions to implement various events and activities to enhance its achievements and objectives. The centre also serves as a comprehensive reference and catalyst for the CSR practices in business community in Ajman.
He pointed out that the centre, since its inception, has been adopting a plan aimed at achieving Ajman Vision 2021 that strives to have a happy society building a green economy, simulated by a government consistent with the spirit of the Union. He also noted that it will carry out a bundle of activities to foster CSR and consolidate its culture in all institutions. These will further promote the best practices and applications in the area of sustainability and CSR in various sectors, he added.
Al Jeneni, said, "Al Al-Ihsan Charity is pleased to cooperate with the CSR Centre Ajman within the framework of joint and reciprocal coordination with the Ajman Chamber, which will be strengthened by this agreement to achieve common interests and objectives serving the community."
