The Corporate Social Responsibility Centre of Ajman discussed the best applied practices and experiments in the CSR and sustainability fields during a joint meeting attended by representatives of government, private, service and charity entities in the emirate, along with a number of university students.

The meeting was held at Fairmont Ajman Hotel in the presence of Naser Al Dhafri, CEO of the CSR Centre of Ajman and Bashayer Al Kemeti, Director of the Centre. During the meeting, a number of researches on the best practices and experiences applied in the CSR and sustainability were presented by Captain Dr Mohamed Bin Hazeem Al Suwaidi, Head of Social Police Department at Ajman Police, Alex Ma’alouf, Corporate Communication Manager at Procter & Gamble, Iftikhar Hamadani, Director General of Ramada Hotel-Ajman and Henny Schaeffer, General Manager of Fairmont Hotel-Ajman. After welcoming the present, Al Dhafri stressed the importance to concert and integrate the efforts dedicated to serving the society and both public and private sectors, and the need to enhance a sustainable green economy to please the community and translate Ajman Vision-2021. He said “We are here today to affirm efforts of the government and private sectors, and the social welfare institutions made to promote the CSR and consolidate its concepts. Also we will be acquainted with the best practices and applications adopted in various sectors, as well as enhancing the communication and sharing of experiences.” Al Dhafri also said “The Centre adopts a comprehensive plan aimed at applying the best regional and international practices in the field of sustainability and CSR. It further seeks to strengthen the local and international partnerships to serve its goals and increase the creative community initiatives.”
