The Ajman Centrefor Corporate Social Responsibility (ACCSR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Humaid Bin RashidAl Nuaimi Foundation to enhance the corporate cooperation in making use of unneededproperties by donating them to the groups of low income through a smartplatform (RRS). The application displays the usable items offered byindividuals and institutions for donation.
The MoU was signedby Sheikha Azza Bint Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Director General of Humaid Bin RashidAl Nuaimi Foundation and Nasser Al-Dhafri, CEO of ACCSR, on the sidelines ofthe launch of RRS during GITEX 2018.
Commenting on theapplication, Sheikha Azza Al Nuaimi stressed that RRS will increase theopportunities for cooperation between the Foundation and the Centre through providinga direct link for companies and hotels to donate the usable properties to theeligible groups. She praised the efforts of the ACCSR in launching initiativesand tools that attract the private sector and increase its societal interactionboosting the emirate’s leadership in the CSR field.
On his part, Nasser Al Dhafri emphasized that the ACCSR gives priority onthe development of the recycling system and the utilization of usable items,noting that the RRS will contribute to the direct communication betweendifferent parties and the categories entitled to benefit from these items. Itallows to review all products available for donation.
“Theagreement will enhance the partnership opportunities between the Centre and theFoundation, while the Centre is adopting an operational plan for theapplication in cooperation with its partners and public benefit organizationsin the emirate.” Al Dhafri said.
The application will further enhance the principle of community solidarityand extend bridges of communication between the private sector and needycategories.
